We just got back from standing by while the command team spoke with the Romulans. I'm not much for these political discussions, so I can't really weigh in on how they went. To me it usually sounds like a lot of talking on both sides without any actual information being shared.

I admit I was on edge because I was sure something would go wrong. Romulans in general are not known for being trustworthy. Everyone came back alive and unharmed, most likely because our presence was a successful deterrent for any negative outcomes today.

I think I'll go get a workout in before our next assignment.
